Music often provides a connection to God that can be found in no other way. So worship at Central United Methodist Church is centered on our love for Jesus Christ, each other and music.

Here are some of the ways we worship through music.

Special Music

We welcome special music offerings of many kinds. Some Sundays feature our talented musicians on piano or organ. Other Sundays feature musicians from the congregation or the Lawrence area sharing their talents in praise to God. Still other Sundays feature soloists from the church or surrounding area. Do you have a talent for music? Don’t be bashful. Let the church know if you would like to share a song in worship.

Mass Street Ringers

Our bell choir shares its talents at various times during the month. The bell choir provides hymns and contemporary music. Rehearsal is Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., so if you have a talent for bell-ringing, please let the church know of your interest to learn more about the group.

Mass Street Singers

Our choir has resumed rehearsals and meets for practice Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m.
