Workshops from a forum hosted Jan. 28, 2023
Central UMC and the Tri-County Network of United Methodist churches in the Lawrence area hosted a Mental Health Forum on Jan. 28, 2023, to help educate people on many aspects of mental health.
While it’s clear that one morning of workshops won’t provide all a person needs to know about mental health, the professional presenters provided an overview to help participants begin discussions and provide a basis for providing resources for people who may need assistance in restoring or retaining their mental health.
The videos below are from the five workshops provided that day at Central UMC.
If you or someone else feel like you need help with mental health, call 911. If you feel like you may harm yourself — or if you know someone who you think might do so — please call 911 or the national suicide prevention hotline by dialing 988.
